Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your rental of vehicles from EuroDrive UAE, a car rental company operating in the United Arab Emirates. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to these terms.

2. Eligibility Requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years (25 years for luxury/sports vehicles)
• Valid UAE driving license or International Driving Permit
• Valid Emirates ID or passport
• Credit card in the renter’s name for security deposit
• Clean driving record with no major violations in past 2 years

3. Rental Period and Extensions

• Minimum rental period: 24 hours
• Late return grace period: 1 hour
• Extensions subject to vehicle availability and additional charges
• Unauthorized extensions may result in vehicle recovery

4. Vehicle Use Restrictions

Prohibited Uses:

• Racing, rallying, or any competitive driving
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Using vehicle for commercial transportation without authorization
• Transporting illegal substances or contraband
• Off-road driving unless specifically authorized
• Smoking in the vehicle
• Pet transportation without prior approval

Geographic Limitations:

• Driving outside UAE requires written permission
• GCC travel permitted with additional documentation and fees

5. Insurance and Liability

• Basic insurance included with comprehensive coverage options available
• Renter responsible for deductible amounts as per insurance policy
• Personal belongings not covered by our insurance
• Traffic violations and fines are renter’s responsibility
• Damage from prohibited use voids insurance coverage

6. Payment Terms

• Payment due at time of rental
• Security deposit blocked on credit card (refundable)
• Additional charges for fuel, excess mileage, and damages
• Late payment fees: 2% per month on outstanding amounts
• Currency: UAE Dirhams (AED)

7. Vehicle Condition and Return

• Vehicle must be returned in same condition as received
• Full fuel tank required unless prepaid fuel option selected
• Cleaning fees apply for excessive dirt or odors
• Missing items or accessories will be charged at replacement cost
• Return location as specified in rental agreement

8. Accidents and Breakdowns

• Do not admit fault or make statements to third parties
• Obtain police report for all accidents
• 24/7 roadside assistance available
• Unauthorized repairs void warranty coverage

9. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup
• 50% refund for cancellations 12-24 hours before pickup
• No refund for cancellations less than 12 hours before pickup
• No-shows are charged full rental amount

10. Force Majeure

EuroDrive UAE is not liable for delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or public emergencies.

11. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by UAE federal and local laws. Any disputes will be resolved through UAE courts with jurisdiction in Dubai.
